Burns Grange hosted the Retired Railroaders luncheon last week, inviting old friends to come and visit. The organization announced that it would not hold a jamboree this month but hopes to return in July with the favorite event.

The national organization, formally known as The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, was founded in 1867 as a fraternal organization that encourages families to come together to support, nurture and advance the economic and political well-being of the local and agricultural community.
Burns Grange #160 is located at 6630 Cole Road in Bancroft.
